The Heavy Devastator, is equipped with a heavy armored Ballistics Shield. Helldivers have two effective methods for dealing with this automaton: disabling it by shooting off the arm that holds its weapon or utilizing weapons such as the grenade launcher to inflict splash damage on its weak point (the head) or heavy armor-penetration weapons like the Railgun to shred through its shield.
